| چکیده | ||
| The present study aimed to predict marital satisfaction of women based on maladaptive cognitive schemas with the moderating role of the forgiveness. The data collection method was descriptive correlational. The statistical population of this study was all married women working in Lorestan province, from which 227 people participated in this study as a sample. The data collection tools were Young's Schema Questionnaire - Short Form, Forgiveness Scale and Relationship Satisfaction Scale (RAS). The method of this research was structural equation modeling and the collected data were analyzed using the maximum likelihood method and IMOS software version 24. The results showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between women's marital satisfaction and maladaptive cognitive schemas(-28%),a negative and significant relationship between maladaptive cognitive schemas and forgiveness(-56%), and a positive and significant relationship between women's marital satisfaction and forgiveness(53%) and Women's marital satisfaction can be predicted based on maladaptive cognitive schemas with the moderating role of the forgiveness variable. Based on the findings, the forgiveness moderates the relationship between marital satisfaction and maladaptive cognitive schemas. It is suggested that counselors pay special attention to examining maladaptive cognitive schemas and the level of forgiveness among couples in order to increase marital satisfaction | ||
