چکیده
The aim of this study was to present an explanatory model of the tendency to marital infidelity based on the dark triad of personality and marital satisfaction mediated by moral disengagement in married female students in Shiraz. The aim of this research was applied and the research method was survey based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the research included married female students of Shiraz city in the academic year of 1402-1403, 320 of whom were selected by the stratified random sampling method, and they are Dark triad personality questionnaire (Jonason and Webster, 2010), moral disengagement scale (Bandura, Barbaranelli, Caprara and Pastorelli, 1996), Index of Marital Satisfaction (Hudson, 1992) and attitude towards infidelity scale (Whatley, 2008) completed. Data analysis was done using AMOS 22 software. The obtained results showed that the dark triad personality and moral disengagement have a positive and significant effect on the tendency to marital infidelity, and marital satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on the moral disengagement and tendency to marital infidelity. The moral disengagement has a mediating role in the effect of dark triad personality and marital satisfaction on the tendency to marital infidelity.
