| The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the mediating role of attachment style and self-compassion in the relationship between emotional efficiency and satisfaction with married life. The method of the current research was correlation of the type of structural (causal) equation modeling.The statistical population of the research included couples who referred to the center of psychiatry and psychotherapy and also had a case in the deputy of social affairs of the general welfare department of East Azerbaijan province in 1402, and 250 subjects were selected as a sample by multi-stage random sampling method. . All analyzes were performed using Preacher and Hayes SPSS26 and AMOS24 software. The results showed that the proposed model has a good fit to the data. Also, in a more detailed form, the findings showed that emotional efficiency (-0.019) has a direct effect on relationship satisfaction and marital quality. Also, the findings indicated that attachment style and self-compassion have a mediating role. Considering the impact of emotional efficiency, attachment style and self-compassion on relationship satisfaction and marital quality, it is suggested that psychologists and counselors should pay more attention to the role of these variables in order to improve couples' relationships. | ||
