چکیده | ||
Purpose: The current research is an analysis on the influence of sports managers' career success on their cultural knowledge. Methods: The research is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population included all managers of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Kerman province (385 people) in 1401. The statistical sample includes 223 people (41 women and 182 men). Results: Managers' cultural knowledge questionnaire includes 39 four-choice questions and managers' success questionnaire includes 38 five-choice Likert-type items. The content validity of two questionnaires was approved by professors and experts, and their reliability was obtained through Cronbach's alpha 0.89 for the managers' knowledge questionnaire and 0.86 for the managers' success questionnaire, respectively. Conclusion: All components of cultural knowledge had a positive and significant relationship with the career success of managers, and the highest relationship between supervision and control with career success was 0.918, and the lowest relationship between guidance and leadership with career success was 0.352. . Also, the step-by-step regression showed that all seven components can contribute to the prediction and explain a total of 0.962 of the changes in the career success variable. Structural equation modeling also showed that there is an impact factor of 0.975 and a t-index equal to 412.62 between the two variables of cultural knowledge and job success. It seems that managers should have enough culture and knowledge about the details of sports programs and their implementation, to make correct and less wrong decisions in their job performance. | ||
