چکیده
The present study was to use confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) for the assessment of attitude gender roles. This study examined psychometric properties of Gender Roles attitude among university students. The statistical population included university student of Ardabil city. Data gathered from 300 university students. The method was available sampling. The evaluation of reliability with internal consistency methods showed that GRAS's reliability based on Cronbach's alpha was 0/83. The results showed that the content, discriminant and construct validity of questionnaire is desirable. Confirmatory factor analysis as the main form, revealed five factors which include egalitarian gender roles, female gender roles، marriage gender roles, traditional gender roles and male gender roles. Based on results can be said، GRAS is valid and reliable instrument. The results of this research are in line with the research of other authors. The obtained results show that the scale of attitude towards gender roles with a slight change in the items of the scale on the Iranian sample has good validity and reliability. Gender Roles attitude among university students is completely suitable tool for measuring attitudes towards gender roles. It is suggested to investigate the validity ,reliability of GRAS in different cities and cultures in future researches.
