| The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of perceived stress, intolerance of uncertainty and anxiety of corona disease in predicting the severity of symptoms of patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder. This research was an applied and correlational-descriptive study. The population of this research included people aged 20 to 50 years who lived in the fall and winter in Ardabil city in 1400. The case study of this research included 135 individuals who were chosen through the convenience sampling method, and they answered the electronic versions of the Vancouver Obsessive-Compulsive Scale (2004), the Corona Disease Anxiety Scale (Alipour et al., 2020), Perceived Stress Scale of Campo-Arias, and Intolerance of Uncertainty of Freeston et al. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation test and multiple linear regression analysis. According to Pearson’s correlation test results, a positive and significant relationship was observed between anxiety of corona disease, Stress, Intolerance of Uncertainty, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (P<0.05). The results of the regression test also indicated that the anxiety of corona disease (B=0.417; P=0.000), stress (B=0.238; P=0.019), and uncertainty intolerance (B=0.173; P=0.030) have a positive and significant role in predicting practical obsessive-compulsive disorder symptoms. According to the findings of the research, it can be said that variables of perceived stress, intolerance of uncertainty and anxiety of corona disease can aggravate the symptoms of patients suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder. | ||
