چکیده
Objective: The aim of this study was to Causal Relationship of Parental Authority and Psychological Symptoms with the Tendency to Suicidal Thoughts Mediated by Personal Growth of Female Adolescents.

Methods: The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included all girl high school students in Naghadeh in the academic year 2020-2021, from which a sample of 120 people was selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. Beck Suicide Thought Scale, Buri Parental Authority Questionnaire, Symptoms Checklist and Robitchek Personal Growth Questionnaire were used to collect data and Structural Equation Modeling method was used to analyze the data.

Results: The results showed that suicidal thoughts had a negative and positive relationship with parental authority and psychological symptoms, respectively, and a negative relationship with personal development. The results showed that parental authority and psychological symptoms, in addition to having a direct effect on suicidal thoughts, indirectly affect suicidal thoughts through personal growth.

Conclusion: Therefore, according to the proposed results, by creating a favorable state of mental health, prevent high-risk actions of female adolescents, especially suicidal ideation, Also, developing any program to promote adolescents' personal development can prevent or reduce suicidal ideation in them.
